Marlee M&B: 1993 mare. Sterling Silver (Sturmer) x Melissa (Archer).

Marlee, out of two Austrian imports, is an affectionate, beautiful mare who is schooling fourth level dressage, as well as jumping up to 3 feet.  She competed in 1998 as a pregnant mare, qualifying for the Region VI USDF Championships in first and second level dressage, as well as winning the Beginner Novice Division of the Area VII USCTA Combined Training Championship.   She has been named the Haflinger All Breed USDF Award winner for 1998 in first and second level dressage. Truly a remarkable mare, Marlee was ridden bridleless by her trainer, Jessica Heidemann, at the 2001 Western Haflinger Association event in a dressage test in front of a huge crowd of spectators.

Marlee has had five foals--Winterstraum BCH by Windsor NTF, now living with Jim and Michele Shifler in Idaho and doing dressage and jumping, Marquisse BCH by Aristocrat TOF, just starting under saddle, sold to the Gibbons family of Arlington, Washington,  Myst BCH by Midnight van de Edelweiss, now living with Rita Grogan of California, Wintermond BCH by Waldheer now with Barb Pearson in Washington.  2003 colt Nordstrom BCH has been sold to Jessica Bryant of Washington.
